Nowadays, the number of elderly population in Shenzhen is getting larger. For the sake of solving the aging problem, Defu Home Care Service Center (hereinafter referred to as “Defu”) was established under the direction and support of governments in 2006. As of now, 250 carers employed by Defu have provided home care services to over 4100 people which living in Luohu as elderly. It has also provided day care services since 2010.With the “VMV” as “Bring virtue and bliss to families” and “Build up a nursing home without fences”, Defu has achieved the goal of “ten minutes service circle”, which requires carers providing good quality and fast services. In addition, Defu has received so many awards, such as “Demonstration Unit of Social Organizations of Guangdong Province”, “Demonstration Unit of Home Care Service of Guangdong Province”, “One of the Most Satisfied Projects of Shenzhen Citizens”, and “4A-level Social Organizations in Luohu”.
